Nutrition Counseling

What you eat shapes how well your body heals, trains, and recovers. General nutrition guidance built to support — not replace — the rest of your plan.

Nutrition Is Part of Recovery, Not Separate From It

Tissue healing, energy for training, recovery between sessions — nutrition plays a role in all of it. For patients who want that piece addressed alongside their physical therapy or performance goals, general nutrition guidance can be part of the conversation.

This isn’t a replacement for working with a Registered Dietitian on a complex medical nutrition need — it’s practical, general guidance aimed at supporting the recovery and performance work already happening in your plan.

Think of this as one more piece of a broader plan — not a stand-alone clinical nutrition service.

How It Helps

What Nutrition Guidance Supports

01

Supports Tissue Healing

General guidance on eating patterns that support the body’s natural recovery process.

02

Fuels Training & Rehab

Practical guidance on eating enough, and well, to support the work you’re doing in your plan.

03

Complements Your PT Plan

Nutrition conversations built around what you’re already working on in physical therapy or fitness-focused rehab.

04

Practical, Not Restrictive

General, sustainable guidance — not a rigid diet plan.

How It Fits In

A Conversation, Not a Prescription

Nutrition guidance here starts with an honest conversation about your current habits, goals, and what’s realistic for your life — not a generic meal plan handed to every patient.

It’s meant to complement your physical therapy or fitness-focused rehab plan, addressing the fueling and recovery side of the work you’re already doing.

Starts With Your Current Habits

An honest look at how you’re eating now, and what’s realistic to build on.

Coordinated With Your Plan

Guidance built around what you’re already working on in PT or rehab, not a separate track.

Practical, Sustainable Changes

Small, realistic adjustments rather than an all-or-nothing overhaul.

Common Questions

Nutrition Counseling FAQs

Is this the same as seeing a Registered Dietitian?

No — this is general nutrition guidance to support your recovery and performance goals, not medical nutrition therapy for a specific diagnosis. If you have a complex medical nutrition need, we’ll help point you toward the right specialist.

Do I need to already be a patient here?

It’s most useful alongside an existing physical therapy or rehab plan, but give us a call and we can talk through whether it’s a fit.

Will I get a meal plan?

This is guidance and coaching, not a rigid prescribed meal plan — the goal is practical changes that fit your actual life.

Who provides the nutrition guidance?

Ask us when you call — we’ll be upfront about who you’ll be working with and their background.

Let’s Talk About the Fueling Side of Your Plan

If nutrition feels like the missing piece in your recovery or training, let’s have a conversation about it.
