Outside of True Health & Performance, Torey enjoys coaching CrossFit, spending time with his wife—who also shares a passion for healthcare—and caring for their horses on their property.
His clinical approach blends strength and conditioning principles with evidence-based rehabilitation to empower patients to take ownership of their movement and recovery. Torey believes that lasting change comes from understanding the “why” behind pain and building confidence through movement.
After personally experiencing debilitating low back pain, Torey developed a deep passion for helping others learn to manage and overcome pain on their own. That experience continues to shape his philosophy—educating and equipping people with the tools to take back control of their health.
Too often, patients feel like they have no control over their pain or progress. They’re told to rest, take medication, or rely on someone else to “fix” them—and that mindset can make recovery feel discouraging and dependent. I want to change that. My goal is to help people understand their bodies, build confidence in movement, and realize that they have the power to manage pain and stay active on their own terms.
